Facilities for people with reduced mobility :

⊚ Number of disabled parking spaces: 1
⊚ Level access
⊚ Beach mat
⊚ Handicapped WC within 100m
⊚ Accessible shower
⊚ Two "Tiralos", amphibious chairs designed for the launch and aquatic comfort of people with disabilities, are available on the beach of Charmes lake. You will find them next to the lifeguard's chair. Ask to use it to the beach lifeguard, recognizable by his red T-shirt and cap.
The "Tiralo" is only available to people with reduced mobility or disabilities who have a companion who will go into the water with them. It is not a play object for the general public, but a chair reserved for the bathing of disabled people. It is used under the responsibility of the user and the person(s) accompanying him/her. The beach lifeguard cannot substitute for the accompanying person, he/she is in charge of supervising the bathing.
The "Tiralo" can only be used in the defined bathing area. The accompanying person must always have a foot to control the stability of the bathing chair. It is advisable not to stray more than a few metres from the shore. In case of improper or unreasonable use, the lifeguard has the authority to stop its use. The "Tiralo" is not a boat but a swimming aid. It must be used under the responsibility of an accompanying person.
The use of a life jacket is compulsory (life jacket provided by the lifeguard).

Safety instructions :

Swimming is only allowed within the bathing perimeters marked by water lines and delimited by the red and yellow flags.

Only the presence of a flag on the beach mast indicates the presence of a lifeguard and the swimming conditions:
⊳ green flag: supervised swimming with no apparent danger
⊳ yellow flag: Supervised swimming with moderate or considerable danger
⊳ red flag: swimming prohibited
⊳ No flag means that swimming is not supervised ; swimming is at people's own risks.

The presence of a lifeguard does not exclude the responsibility of each person and the responsibility of parents towards their children.
In the absence of a flag, the public swims under their own responsibility.
Users must comply with the rules set out in the municipal by-laws of the municipalities concerned.

A sanitary pass is not required for access to the beach.
