Producer-harvester of Vin de Pays de la Haute-Marne direct sales.
After a long slumber due to the phylloxera crisis at the end of the 19th century, the vineyards of the South Haut Marnais have been reborn from their ashes since the end of the 1980s thanks to the efforts of a handful of local men and women.
Today, they bring back to life their wines, their roots... and a part of their history.
Spread over 14 hectares, the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Auxerrois and Gamay grape varieties are grown in four communes of the South Haut Marnais. The whole vineyard is in conversion to organic farming since 2020.
The Domaine employs five people to cultivate the vines (recently converted to organic farming) and to produce and mature nearly 120,000 bottles per year.
This vineyard is constantly being recognised and rewarded by the Hachette guide to French wines and the Concours Général Agricole de Paris.
Since its rebirth, the order of the knights of Montsaugeonnais meets to feast, during the Saint-Vincent tournante in Vaux-sous-Aubigny, Rivière-les-Fosses, Chatoillenot or Montsaugeon.
